Would you add Ranks as well as names So Captain or Sargent or Major. Im not sure if you still check this but I would love to add some more names Thanks so much for the amazing mod. I copied Albert - the three GNAN forms, changed it to Lucas - added Lucas to GNAN Keeper - but it still gives them the name Albert.
So Ive been trying to add my own names to the mod - but Ive run into a snag. Orphans of the commonwealth and it still works great. So I could have a statue of a raider sitting and I could place it over a chair and he. One thing it added was realistic NPC and animal statues. This is JUST a file with MESG ids so you can rename NPCs or objects. It added a whole bunch of stuff to the game.
I had an old mod on my ps4 game called Unlocked Settlement Obejcts/USO by Andrewcx. Up to this day Ive been using it for normal settlers, unique settlers mod and of 2 - Request for NPC Statues - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: Hi So I finally got a computer and got fallout. In case you havent found the answer yet, you can use something like Settler Renaming ( ) in order to accomplish this. I havent checked to see if the job title from them is spelled correctly or not. I have found that there are three recipes that have misspelled names Setteler should be Settler, Profesor should be Professor, and Resercher should be Researcher. It makes life much simpler to be able to name settlers, as well as making sense. What would have been super awesome Since those falls under the Weapon tab, if we could rename those weapons just like other weapons in the bench, so the followers would get said name: no limitation (Except the number of characters available.). 'Your' refers to player character and this is maybethe easiest way to do this.Rename Npc Fallout 4 By imcioupupe1986 Follow | Public
Use the console command 'setnameIf you want spaces in a name, its (ex.) DogmeatsPuppy. Or you can always create a new item and name it, for example "Your Longsword" or "Your Jug" Click on someone while in console mode and type: setname (insert new name here) ex. Perhaps the answer will be found from Conjuring spell scripts? When you summon something, the creature has player's name in it. So you want to add the player's name to object? When the object name changes, all of the references will inherit the new name. The problem is that the visible in-game name comes from the object - not the reference - so every reference to a particular object will always have the same name. In the case of the person who wants to have a "Player's Corpse" reference with the appropriate name, you could create the Corpse object in the construction set and then change the name to the player's name with a script (and place a ref whereever you wish).įor the person that wants multiple unique "trophies"? best I can suggest is to create "x" number of these objects and rename them through a script - this gives you a fixed number of uniquely named things you could use. For each unique name that you want to have, you need to have a unique object to make a reference from.
So far as I have been able to determine, you cannot have two differently named (name visible in the game) references to the same object. It's a little confusing replying to two different requests.
If this even was the information that you were looking for : ) You can put this new sword somewhere in game, add a script that gives it to player when doing something etc. If you just change the damage value, then every Silver Longsword in game will have a damage of 20.īut if we give damage value of 20 AND change the Editor ID to WeapSilverLongswordMyMod for example, a new object will be created. Now, if we give the damage a new value like 20. It's Editor ID is "WeapSilverLongsword" without quotes. Otherwise it overwrites the original object and EVERY object of that kind will have the stats that you gave.įor example, let's take an object 'Silver Longsword'
Change the stats more to your liking and the Editor ID into different and when it asks "Do you want to create new item?" Select 'Yes' If so, you have to open the stats of the item. You mean you want to create a similar item but with different stats?
Trying to create a trophy script, but can't figure out how to rename a single item.
Im indeed using windows Xp, but thing is I'm already working on a mod, and actually ment in a script.
